In 2022 Monica and I launched Danica Daycast, the podcast for our small business Danica Daydreams. I chose to shoot with a multi-camera setup to give myself more freedom while editing. Because of this I was able to create engaging videos that reached a large audience.
We released full episodes on YouTube and short clips on TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube shorts. The full episodes were meant to be viewed by those who were already familiar with us and our work. The shorts were created so we could expand and reach a new audience while also keeping our existing audience engaged. We were most successful on TikTok where our podcast clips gained over 4 million views.
