In 2022 Monica and I launched Danica Daycast, the video podcast for our small business Danica Daydreams.
Shoot the podcast with a multi-camera setup gave me much more freedom when editing. Because of this I was able to create more engaging videos and reach a larger audience.
We released full episodes on YouTube and short clips on TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube shorts. The full episodes were meant to be viewed by people who are already familiar with us and our work. The shorts were created so we could expand and reach a new audience while also keeping our existing audience engaged. Our podcast clips did the best on TikTok where we received over 4 million views.
