In 2022 Monica and I launched Danica Daycast, the video podcast for our small business Danica Daydreams.
I choose to shoot the podcast using three different cameras. This decision allowed me to seamlessly edit out sections of the podcast when needed.
We released full episodes on YouTube and short clips on TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube shorts. The full episodes were meant to be viewed by people who are already familiar with us and our work. The shorts were created so we could expand and reach a new audience while also keeping our existing audience engaged. Our podcast clips did the best on TikTok where we received over 4 million views.
